Hanging cords for STAS picture hanging systems consist of a slider called 'cobra' that is attached to a perlon cord or steel wire. The cobra suspension cords offer a flexible, user-friendly and safe way to hang wall decorations from a STAS picture rail. The STAS cobra picture hanging wires can be placed at any point of the picture hanging rail and can easily be removed and replaced. 

Use the cords with the matching picture rail hooks to hang your pictures.

There are several possible combinations. Your choice depends on the desired look and the weight of your painting or wall decoration. The perlon cord is virtually invisible. The steel cable, also available with a white coating, is suitable for hanging heavy wall decorations.

Please note the hook is sold separately, please add your STAS zipper to hang your frame takes up to 20kg per hook and cord.

Can be used with all modern STAS rail systems in this shop. Please note the product price is for the cord only - Use with picture rail hook (STAS zipper or zipper pro) sold separately.  Compatible with STAS minirail, cliprail pro, cliprail max, drop ceiling rail, prorail crown, u-rail & multirail. Please note this is NOT compatible with j-rail or j-rail max or wooden picture rails.

• £3.95 SHIPPING* on orders (E&W) Small Parcel without rail (up to £30) via Royal Mail 1st Class. (Includes Northern Ireland, Scotland, IOW and Jersey/Guernsey. (1-4 working days) 
• £6.95 SHIPPING* on orders (E&W) Large Parcel without rail (over £30) via DHL tracked courier (1-2 working days)
• £12.50 SHIPPING* on orders (E&W) with rail up to 150cm. Prices vary from other areas of the UK, additional costs for Scotland, the Islands and Northern Ireland via APC/DHL tracked courier. (1-2 working days) 
• £22.50 SHIPPING* on orders (E&W) with rail up to 200cm. Prices vary from other areas of the UK, additional costs for Scotland, Northern Ireland & UK Islands via APC/DHL tracked courier. (1-2 working days) 
*Surcharges apply on non mainland areas outside England & Wales (E&W). Typically Highlands and Islands including Northern Island are 72 hour delivery time. Please allow extra time for your delivery in these areas.

When will my order ship and when will it arrive?

• Orders generally ship within 1-2 working days (Monday to Friday) with delivery typically also 1-2 working days. Please note during busy periods this cannot be guaranteed.
• Our dispatch team dispatches throughout the day to ensure orders are sent out as soon as possible even after our daily parcel collection, so if you receive an email after 3pm it will most likely be collected the following working day.
• Carrier method will be determined by value and size. 
• For time sensitive orders, contact us at info@hangingsystems.com. Orders placed before 12pm can sometimes be shipped the same day, please contact us to check stock levels and availability on that service.
• For orders with larger quantities can take longer to dispatch, please do check
before ordering for current stock levels and lead time. (Lead time can be between 2-3 weeks)
