The STAS j-rail max is specifically designed for heavy objects, providing a simple yet exceptionally strong solution. Its robust thick-walled aluminum profile can support loads of up to 100 kg per linear meter. This makes it a trusted choice for art galleries and museums worldwide.
What’s more, the STAS j-rail max system uses rods instead of cords, allowing you to easily alternate and move heavy works of art, even on high ceilings. No ladder is needed, as the rod can be lifted out of the rail from below, making adjustments a piece of cake.
The system also offers theft-delaying security hooks, further enhancing its appeal for professional applications. When using hooks on the rods, a minimum weight of 0.5 kg is required for proper function. However, we recommend hanging at least 1 kg to ensure the hooks lock securely onto the rods and prevent slipping. Depending on the type of rods used, the system supports up to 40 kg or 100 kg of weight.

Each rail comes with an installation kit which contains all necessary parts to install your rail such as screws & plugs.

Tips: Attach several hooks to a single rod to create collages or hang items directly above each other. Use two rods per very large or heavy frame to ensure stability and even weight distribution.
