Assemble your gallery hanging system with STAS j-rail
The design of STAS j-rail is based on the shape of the letter J. This shape allows the rail to be combined in all kinds of different ways with cords, rods and hooks. STAS j-rail is applied regularly in art galleries and in offices.
For example, by using a rod instead of a perlon cord or steel cable, moving or alternating works of art on high ceilings becomes a piece of cake. You won’t need a ladder, because the rod can be lifted out of the rail from below.
Step 1: Choose your needed STAS j-rail
Simple and strong gallery system, available in white and alu. The load-bearing capacity of the STAS j-rail is 25 kg/m¹.
Each rail comes with an installation kit which contains all necessary parts to install your rail such as screws & plugs.

The STAS j-rail offers a flexible and stylish solution for hanging your frames. With a variety of options, you can tailor your setup to fit your needs. The zipper (pro), smartspring and spring hook make height adjustments a breeze. With just one hand, you can position your frames at the perfect height.
For added security, the zipper pro includes an anti-theft bracket, making it perfect for public spaces or valuable artwork. Select from these versatile combinations of cords, rods and hooks to create the perfect display:
Tips: Attach several hooks to a single cord/rod to create collages or hang items directly above each other. Use two cords/rods per larger/heavier frames to ensure stability and even weight distribution.
Option 1: STAS j-rail cylinder hook
Add components: Cylinder hook + perlon or steel cord with glider + smartspring or zipper (pro) hook.

Add components: S-hook + perlon or steel cord with loop + smartspring or zipper (pro) hook.

For option 1 and 2: Add STAS zipper/zipper pro(s) and/or smartspring(s)
You can use more than one hook on a cord as long as you don't exceed the maximum bearing capacity of both the STAS j-rail and the chosen cord. STAS zipper & zipper pro can be used on both perlon and steel cords. STAS smartsprings can be used on perlon cords ONLY!

Dimensions of the STAS zipper are: 23.9mm high x 29.9mm wide x 15mm depth. Depth of the hook part is 5mm height of hook part is 5mm.
STAS zipper pro is equipped with a theft-delaying bracket. Artworks can't be taken off the wall in one move. The bracket protects decorations from falling caused by knocks or tremors. Ideal for use in public or busy spaces such as restaurants.

Dimensions of the STAS zipper pro are: 23.9mm high x 29.9mm wide x 15mm depth. Depth of the hook part is 5mm height of hook part is 5mm.
The STAS smartspring can carry loads up to 4kg, when used in combination with a STAS perlon cord. Not suitable for use with steel cable!
Dimensions of the STAS smartspring are: 22.5mm high x 11mm wide x 13mm depth. Depth of the hook part is 4mm height of hook part is 6mm.
Option 3: STAS j-rail rod (3mm) with spring hook
Ideal for: Strong and stable hanging for larger or heavier frames on high walls. No need for a ladder, you can lift the piece out of the rail from below and rearrange.

To use in combination with STAS j-rail rod 3mm, can carry up to 15 kg per hook. You can use more than one spring hook on a rod, as long as you don't exceed the maximum bearing capacity of the STAS j-rail system.
